The design speaks of originality, comfort, and personal expression. The large longitudinal space has been thoughtfully designed to be interchangeable; adapting from hosting a party to intimate gatherings or quiet nights in solitude away from the bustle of the city. Large floor-to-ceiling seamless glass windows bring outside in allowing natural light to infiltrate the open design. The biophilia adds to the character and warmth. The interior is a bold play of materials, smooth and texture, dark and light, and glossy with matt undertones. The extensive and expansive reflected ceiling in wood imbues warmth and indulgence, setting a luxuriant tone to the interior’s mood. The experimental oeuvre of ochre brass patina metal as paneling, in the juxtaposition of fair-faced concrete walls and floors, acts as a strong backdrop creating a play with the contemporary fireplace that rises to the ceiling. The design narrative is intense and experimental creating a boutique-like retreat for the family weekend home. Each area has a strong design element highlighted through wall treatments, color inclusion, or lighting fixtures. The furniture is simplistic in modern straight lines draped in rich fabric and accessories with hand-woven carpets strewn across the floors. Though flamboyant in material palette, the furniture, and the accessories are understated. Hence the backdrops are neutral and flexible to absorb any change that comes in the furniture layout.
