We aimed to create a building that, when its lease eventually expires, leaves behind minimal debris and instead embraces a philosophy of reuse and recycling. To achieve this ambitious goal, we delved into unconventional building techniques and ultimately chose metal construction as our path forward. In a landscape where engineers with expertise in metal structures were scarce, and the dearth of skilled metal fabricators prevailed, we confronted the challenge head-on. Despite the prevailing lack of understanding within the building regulatory authorities regarding our unconventional approach, our perseverance paid off, resulting in the country's first-ever metal building.
