This renovation project involved transforming a former hotel into an office building for Nishat. The existing structure posed challenges due to low slab heights and restrictions on alterations imposed by the authorities. Hence, the design focuses on countering claustrophobia. To achieve this, skylights were strategically punctured to imbue the space with natural light. The interior was kept white, allowing light to reflect and creating the illusion of a more spacious environment. This thoughtful approach successfully addressed the challenge, enhancing the overall sense of openness and brightness.
