The purpose-built corporate office of Crescent Bahuman Limited and their local brand, Stone Age, harmoniously blend with the residential neighborhood. Designed to be energy-efficient, the building's layout is derived from the site orientation, maximizing natural light while minimizing heat gain. Ample daylight permeates through the well-designed façade, and shaded courtyards prevent summer glare without compromising views or natural light. Large windows fade the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, infusing the interiors with the vitality of biophilia. Thermal comfort is ensured with double-glazed glass that prevents heat gain in summer and retains warmth in winter. A central light control system optimizes power consumption, while a variable (low) power consumption HVAC system provides air conditioning as needed. The façade incorporates local stones and materials, seamlessly blending with the lush surrounding foliage. Preserving existing old trees was a priority, integrating them seamlessly into the building's design. Working closely with the landscape designer, the indoor and outdoor spaces intertwine, providing much-needed visual respite in the work environment.
