The Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT), in collaboration with SRDW, initiated the construction of a 25-bed charity eye hospital in Pasrur. As one of the 19 hospitals established by LRBT, this facility offers free-of-cost treatment to underprivileged locals. The two-story building encompasses outdoor patient areas, operation theaters, recovery rooms, and general wards. The patient flow within the hospital has been carefully planned to ensure efficiency. Patients enter the building from the front and follow a well-defined process before exiting from the back. To prevent bottlenecks, waiting areas have been strategically placed at various screening and examination points. Design and planning measures ensure the doctors' entry and exit in the operation theater areas are completely screened off, minimizing the risk of contamination. Its thoughtful design and patient-centric approach exemplify the dedication of both LRBT and SRDW in creating a facility that delivers quality care to the underprivileged population.
